Like any self-respecting blog, we start with greetings and introductions. At least, that's what I imagine. I don't want to dwell on this too much, since there is already a page dedicated to general introductions. This blog was born with a very specific purpose: to promote the sharing of ideas and opinions on everything that personally interests me—ranging from the world of software development to current affairs, and so on—for an audience increasingly accustomed to consuming and never encouraged to create. In particular, it was this last reflection of mine that pushed me into what is, for all intents and purposes, a gamble for me. I myself recognize that for a long time, I was well-trained by various platforms and whoever else behind them to become a great consumer. I decided to create something of my own and talk about my projects. By building this blog, I decided to create something and share it. I want to encourage other people like me to do the same. I have always been a very ambitious person, even if I honestly haven't always managed to achieve everything I set out to do. I also admit that I am not a "top programmer." This could open up a thousand discussions and reflections, which I hope to dedicate time and space to on this blog. However, talking with people who followed the same educational path as me—and even with those who delved deeper into the subject than I did—I have honestly noticed a recurring problem: in Italy, it seems almost impossible to talk about software in a truly technical way. People almost always stop at the surface, often without having the faintest idea of how things actually work. I admit this is also one of my own weaknesses. For a long time, I was never interested or curious about how things worked under the hood of my PC. I was always content with just getting the job done. But in the end, nothing was left to give me value as a person. In my mind, the blog had to be something very minimal and simple to build and maintain, also because I already know I won't have much time to dedicate to it. For any suggestions for improvement, whether aesthetic or architectural, I am more than happy to discuss them. On the blog's homepage, there is an "About" link with a "complete" introduction page about who I am and what I do. There are also links to my social media. So you have a way to contact me via Telegram, for example, which I prefer. I follow with great interest a person who is inspiring me and who I am convinced will continue to do so for a long time to come. I am talking about Salvatore Sanfilippo. I don't think he needs any introduction from me. He also has a blog, and he too had a vision very similar to mine. I would be a hypocrite not to say that I also took inspiration from his blog in terms of structure and aesthetics. I hope all of this isn't considered "plagiarism," but is rather welcomed as the attempt of a guy trying to put himself out there in the IT world. In any case, I wouldn't care too much; if I write posts, I do it mainly for myself. Long live honesty. Before concluding, I want to specify one more point: none of my posts will be written or proofread by AI. As for translation, I might resort to using this tool—again, due to time constraints—but hardly any of my own words will be dictated by AI.
